Kaia Ball (they/them) crafts fiction with a scientist’s attention, nonfiction with an artist’s panache, and poetry as a love story to life itself.

They have a degree in the biological sciences, a background and knowledge set they leverage frequently in their work to bring their pieces to life.

One of their many works in progress at the moment includes a sapphic fantasy novel set in the rural Midwest, featuring fantastical biology and questionable soup politics.
